Call for Abstracts

The 6th Congress of Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI 2012) which will be held on 7 - 9 June 2012 in Bangkok.  ASCI 2012 cordially invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts for presentation in the scientific sessions and poster exhibition. Authors are required to submit the abstract together with the abstract submission form via the online abstract submission system.

Award
ASCI presents the Best Young Presenter Award for the best oral presentation paper at ASCI 2012. If you would like to apply for the award, please indicate when you submit the abstract.

To be eligible for the Best Young Presenter Award:

1. The applicant must be born after 31 December 1971
   
2. The applicant must be a paid member of ASCI
3. The research work submitted must not have been published at the time of application
   
4. The applicant must submit a recommendation letter (MS word or jpg format) from supervisor
   Five finalists will be selected on the basis of abstract submitted to present his/her work in the session for "Best Young Presenter Award". The Winner will be announced at the Congress Dinner.

• Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent by end of March 2012

Simply download the abstract submission form, and click "Online Abstract Submission" to enter the page for completing the author information and upload your abstract. Please make sure that you have used the official abstract format for submission.
Notes on Submission of Abstracts

1. All abstracts must be submitted via the Online Submission System ONLY: Click here
   
2. Abstracts must be written in English.
   
3. Authors are required to indicate the following types of presentation: Scientific Oral Presentation; Scientific Poster Exhibit; Case or Educational Poster Exhibit.
   
4. Title should be in UPPER CASE BOLD and preferably less than 20 words.
   
5. Type Author(s) name(s) omitting degree and qualifications; mark (*) for presenting author; the email address of presenter; the Affiliation(s) and Country, according to the format in the Abstract Submission Form.
   
6. The abstract should be organized into the following paragraphs: Background/Aim; Methods; Results; Conclusion.
   
7. Abstracts for scientific oral presentation and scientific poster exhibit are limited to 250 words. For case or educational poster exhibit, please disregard the background, method, result and conclusion. Free description of the case will be enough.
   
8. The deadline for abstract submission is 16 March 2012. Late submissions will not be considered.
   
9. The acceptance of abstracts will be notified to the presenting author by end of March 2012 via e-mail. Therefore, please kindly provide your e-mail address accurately.
   
10. Accepted abstracts will only be printed in the Congress abstract book if the Presenting Author has registered and paid the registration fee in full by 16 April 2012
